Bryant Chess finishes year with State trophy!

Team Bryant competed at the Washington State Elementary Chess Championships in Spokane on Saturday, April 25. Students qualified for State by earning 3 or more points at regional tournaments throughout the year. This year Alex G., Max G., Jackson H., Nick H., Murrow L., Olympia L., Ethan M., Axel P., Cooper S., Angela U. and Beck S., represented Bryant at the biggest tournament of the year. The 1st-3rd grade team took 13th place behind a tough field of competitors from across Washington. Alex, Cooper, Murrow, and Nick also took home individual trophies. Please congratulate the entire Bryant Chess Club for their incredible enthusiasm and participation this year!

    Principal Sanger discusses the new arts position that was approved by faculty last month. This new position is a blend of movement, dance, music and drama that will be taught by Michaela Koerner Storkman next school year.
