The Community Service Committee is happy to announce that we are ready to kick off our school wide Student Hunger Service Project for the 2016-17 school year. We are partnering with the Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) again this year to provide nutritious weekend meals for students on free and reduced meal plans. While these students have access to breakfast and lunch at school, for many, the weekends can be a challenge. We want every student in north Seattle to have an equal chance at academic success so we have committed to assembling 100 weekend meal packs every month, starting in November. Read more
