Reflections Art Competition: Submissions due Nov 5

Don’t miss this opportunity for your kids to create a collage, write a story or poem, paint or draw a picture, choreograph a dance, take a photograph, create a computer-generated image – almost anything that the theme, “Heroes Around Me,” inspires them to think up. Several Bryant submissions will be selected for entry at City level. ALL entries will be displayed in our hallway for Family Art Night in April. Make sure to help your kids understand the requirements for each category and for packaging and labeling their entries.

Theme: “Heroes Around Me”

Submissions: place in box in Bryant Library with completed entry form.

Deadline: Monday, November 5th.

Program Details: contact Kristin Zwiers or Amber Calo or visit the program website.

Family Movie Night: Friday, October 19

Friday, October 19
Doors open at 6pm, Movie starts at 6:30pm
Movie is FREE, but bring cash for concessions!

All Bryant families are invited to join us for a movie screening in the Bryant cafeteria. We can’t post the name of the movie online, but let’s just say you’ll be in the company of monsters! Bring a clean blanket for kids to sit on the floor, and dress up as your cuddliest monster (if you want!). We’ll have hot dogs, popcorn, baked goods and candy for sale to support next year’s 5th Grade Islandwood experience. Kids do need an adult to attend with them. There will also be a door prize drawing, courtesy of the Annual Campaign.

VOLUNTEERS:
Fourth graders and parents are encouraged to sign up for bringing goodies and working shifts the night of the movie.  Check out the Sign Up Genius!
