Bryant PTSA and Staff heartily welcome your family to our community and hope you can attend a special evening created with you and your student in mind. You’ll be able to visit classrooms, explore the school and start to form relationships with your new community!
Kindergarten classrooms will be open (and a few 1st-5th classrooms) as we guide you into your Bryant experience. Bring your incoming Bryant student to meet teachers, current families, PTSA, administration and LASER (our on-side after school care).
Please make a special point to visit room 103 (Gallagher) so we can collect some information about your new student.
Calling all Bryant bikers! Bike Month ends with our Obstacles and Popsicles event after school on Friday. Come test your riding skills on a bicycle obstacle course on the playground, then refresh yourself with a cold treat. Celebrate with your fellow Bryant bikers the fun of getting around on your own two wheels during the month of May and beyond.
Questions? Michele or Will.
Come join the fun at Bryant Field Day on Friday, June 17th! Volunteers are needed to help with events for K-2nd grade from 8-10 a.m., and 3rd-5th grade from Noon-2 p.m.
If you’re not able to attend Field Day, but would still like to help, we also need families to fill water balloons (provided), donate sidewalk chalk, and loan large plastic tubs. Please sign up HERE.
***Please complete the SPS volunteer requirements if you wish to volunteer for Field Day. Find the volunteer forms and links on-line or pick them up outside the Bryant office. All volunteers receive an email confirmation once they are approved. Questions about volunteer requirements? Please contact Ann Marie Patterson, Volunteer Coordinator.
Please feel free to contact Julie Matz or Erin Johnson for more information or questions regarding Field Day.

We need a volunteer to make a plant identification chart with photographs of plants and weeds in our Learning Landscape. The chart would need to list common invasive weeds in one section and native plants that need to stay in our Learning Landscape in another section.
Having this chart would make it easier for classes to come out into the Learning Landscape, and for volunteers who would like to work in the Learning Landscape on their own schedule but want clarity about what can stay and what should go.
If this volunteer opportunity is of interest to you please contact Sam Fogg and Pamela Kuhtz.
It’s finally here! Rain or shine, we’ll be Blasting on Saturday, noon-4pm! Bring all your family and friends for a fun day of games and activities inside and out. And come hungry! We’ll be serving up banh mi and hotdogs, as well as all your favorite carnival goodies!
Some of the highlights you won’t want to miss:
- Beat the Bucket featuring our 5th Graders
- Ropeworks jump rope demonstrations and workshops
- Pony Rides
- Cake Walk
- Raffle Baskets
- and so much more!
Make plans to get up early on Wednesday, May 10 for a Bike to School Day celebration. Gather at Top Pot on 35th Ave NE in Wedgwood after 7 a.m. for free donuts and coffee, then at 7:30 a.m. we’ll ride to school together. This will be a parent-escorted event; kids must come with a parent.
If you want to a peek at the fun we’ll be having, check out footage here and here from the 2013 ride with the SPS Superintendent!
