Bring cash for the food\, goodies and raffle.  All proceeds from hot dogs\, concessions\, bake sale\, and 50/50 raffle will go towards sending our 5th graders to IslandWood next year. DESCRIPTION:LASER offers full-day camp on school closure days such as school breaks and teacher in-service days.  \nWe schedule exciting field trips each day including a wide variety of activities\, such as swimming\, sports\, museums\, arts and crafts\, games\, cooking\, nature and science activities\, and much more.\n \nLASER camps are open to all children between the ages of 5 years old to 12 years old that have completed the online registration and submitted the required paperwork. \nDay camp is held at our Bryant location from 8 am to 6:30 pm.   \nIf we are going on a field trip\, children should arrive no later than 10:00 am and be prepared to ride on buses or walk to nearby activities. Drop-off and pick-up is in the school cafeteria. We are typically away from LASER on field trips from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm\, so we are unable to accommodate half-day or morning/afternoon only schedules. \n\n2023 Day Camp Schedule\nA typical schedule for day camp is as follows: \n\n\n\n\n8:00 AM – 8:30 AM\n \n\n\nOpen/Free Play/Enrichment Activities \n\n\n\n\n8:30 AM – 9:00 AM \n\n\nMorning Snack \n\n\n\n\n9:30 AM – 11:10 AM \n\n\nSpecialist Rotations (30 minutes/session) \n\n\n\n\n11:30 AM – 12:00 PM \n\n\nLunch\n \n\n\n\n\n12:00 PM – 12:50 PM \n\n\nFree Time \n\n\n\n\n1:00 PM -3:00 PM \n\n\nField Trip/Enrichment Activities On-Site \n\n\n\n\n3:05 PM – 3:40 PM \n\n\nQuiet Free Time \n\n\n\n\n3:45 PM – 4:10 PM \n\n\nAfternoon Snack \n\n\n\n4:15 PM – 5:00 PM\nAfternoon Choices\n\n\n5:00 PM – 6:30 PM\nFree Time\n\n\n\n\nFor day camp\, your child should bring a backpack with: \n\nNutritious\, nut-free sack lunch that does not require refrigeration or heating\nGood walking shoes\nWater bottle\nWeather-appropriate clothing\nSwimsuit and towel (for field trips to beaches and pools)\nSunscreen\, sunglasses\, and hat (if sunny)\n\nLASER offers day camp during the following breaks and in-service days: \n\nOctober In-Service Day\nVeteran’s Day\nThanksgiving Break (closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday after)\nWinter Break (closed on Christmas Eve and Day)\nDay Between Semesters Closure in January\nMid-Winter Break (closed on President’s day)\nSpring Break\n\nRegistration for individual day camps opens four weeks prior to the start of camp.
