ADVOCACY AT BRYANT
Our PTSA advocates for the issues that shape our school community, because informed, engaged families are essential to strong public schools.
About Our Advocacy
Our PTSA advocates for issues that impact our school community, guided by our Mission and Goals. We believe informed, engaged parents and community members are essential to strong public schools.
What Our Advocacy Looks Like
Our advocacy work includes:
-
Keeping the school community informed. We monitor legislative and school district policy developments and share updates on issues that could affect our students and staff.
-
Connecting the school community with decision-makers. In partnership with other Northeast Seattle PTSAs, we organize opportunities for families to engage directly with elected officials and candidates running for offices that shape education policy.
Our Advocacy in Action
We're gathering highlights of our recent advocacy work, past initiatives, legislative panels we've hosted, and how our board approaches issues like school closures. Check back soon, and in the meantime, we'd love to have you involved.
Get Involved
Advocacy is strongest when families take part. To learn how you can get involved, visit Volunteer Opportunities or reach out to our Advocacy Chair.
