SCHOOL COMMUNITY EVENTS
Throughout the year, the Bryant PTSA hosts events that bring our community together, from welcomes and celebrations to fundraisers and family nights. Here's what to look forward to. For exact dates this school year, check the calendar.
FALL
Coffee & Treats with the PTSA
Celebrate the first day of kindergarten with coffee, treats, and community! All families and kindergarten parents are invited to connect with PTSA members for a warm welcome. Held on the first day of kindergarten.
Ice Cream Social
A school-wide ice cream sundae celebration led by the 4th grade, with proceeds supporting their IslandWood trip the following fall as 5th graders. Typically held the first week of school after kindergarten start.
5th Grade Islandwood Trip
An overnight adventure on Bainbridge Island where 5th graders trade the classroom for the outdoors. Students take part in hands-on science, teamwork challenges, and hikes through the forest, building confidence and a deeper connection to the natural world. The trip typically takes place in mid-October.
Boo Bash
A 4th grade fundraiser for IslandWood and a school-wide, fun-filled evening of games, treats, face painting, costumes, and plenty of Halloween spirit! Held in October.
WINTER
PTA Reflections
A National PTA arts program where students from pre-K through 12 create original art inspired by an annual theme, building confidence and creative expression. Typically held in December.
Bryant Fall Classic Chess Tournament
A premier scholastic chess tournament welcoming K-6 students of all experience levels, from Bryant and the wider community, for a fun day of competition. Typically held in early December.
Bryant Multicultural Night
A colorful, school-wide celebration honoring the many cultures of Bryant through student presentations, performances, and delicious food. Typically held in late winter.
SPRING
Family Art Night
A springtime favorite. Spend an evening touring classroom art projects, viewing the student gallery, and making art at a variety of hands-on stations. Supply donations are encouraged, with notifications shared in Kid Mail and The Weekly about what materials are needed. Typically held in spring. Questions or want to help? Bryant Science Night
Students are invited to share something they're curious about, joined by local community members showcasing their own interests and expertise. Typically held in spring. Keep an eye out for details shared in Kid Mail and The Weekly.
The Bryant Blast!
Our annual spring carnival and a family favorite, featuring carnival games and live entertainment for a fun-filled community celebration! Open to the public, and typically held in May.
YEAR-ROUND
Bryant Packing Parties
Help support students experiencing food insecurity in Seattle. Join grade-level packing parties throughout the year to build snack packs and contribute food items. Held throughout the year.
