How We're Funded

The PTSA is funded by generous donations from the Bryant school community. Our primary fundraiser is the Annual Campaign, which usually occurs in the fall and raises funds used to support PTSA activities the following school year. Other fundraisers are also held throughout the school year. Examples include the Silent Auction and Bryant Blast. PTSA membership dues also provide additional income to the PTSA.

 

Our Budget​

Each year, the PTSA adopts a budget that reflects the priorities established by the PTSA board after engagement with the school community. For more information about the budgeting process, please see the Standing Rules.

Where Funding Goes

Historically, the majority of the PTSA's funding goes directly to paying for additional school staff time and curricular materials. Examples may include:

Staff & Learning

• Academic Specialists in reading and math

• Librarian and Computer Lab teachers

• Artist in Residence teacher

• Recess and Lunchroom Supervisors

• Supplies for both classroom and specialist teachers

Each year, a portion of the PTSA's budget also goes to supporting community building programs and events that occur throughout the year. Examples may include:
