Family Art Night

Family Art Night is a springtime favorite. Spend an evening at Bryant touring classroom art projects, viewing the student gallery, and making art at a variety of hands-on stations. Supply donations are encouraged, and notifications will go out in kid-mail and the Weekly about what materials are needed. 2024-25 Family Art Night will be Thursday, April 3rd. 2024 Bryant Family Art Night: Wild About the Arts - Thursday, April 25

 

Family Art Night (FAN)

April 25, 2024, 6-8 pm

 

Family Art Night (FAN) is a beloved Bryant PTSA event which began in 2014. Our theme this year is Wild About the Arts. This free event will take place on Thursday, April 25, from 6-8 pm at the school.

Our goal is to promote the arts in the Bryant community through the exhibition of students’ artwork in the halls, art activities in the gym and cafeteria, and a performance on stage.

  • Have fun exploring the variety of art activity tables in the gym and cafeteria!
  • Explore the student artwork on display in the hallways and art room. Complete a Bingo sheet to get a prize.
  • Peek into the art and music classrooms from 6-6:30 pm.
  • Make art with Bryant’s art teacher, Ms. Kristen, and Artists-in-Residence, Ms. Elaine and Ms. Kari, as well as guest teaching artists.
  • Enjoy listening to the Bryant choir perform on stage at 7 pm.
  • Take silly pictures in the photo booth area.
  • Stop by the refreshment table for free snacks and lemonade.

All students and parents are invited to showcase their artistic talents in the Creative Creations Gallery.

This will be the first FAN since 2019.  The goal of the event is to promote the arts in the Bryant’s community through the exhibition of students’ artwork in the halls, art activities in the gym and cafeteria, and a performance showcase. 

  • Try cardboard sculpting, encaustics, rock painting, visual poetry, and more art activity tables in the gym and cafeteria! 
  • Explore the student artwork on display in the hallways and art room. 
  • Make art with Bryant’s art teacher, Ms. Kristen, and Artists-in-Residence, Ms. Elaine and Ms. Kari. 
  • Enjoy listening to the Bryant choir and watching performances on stage. 

 

This FREE event will take place on Thursday, April 27th, from 6-8pm. The theme is EARTH celebration.

Family Art Night Follow Up: Bryant School Artists Raise $308 for Syrian Refugee Children

154 colorful pinwheels were created at this year’s Art Night to send to the International Rescue Committee, Students Rebuild. With help from Girl Scout Troop 45144 we raised $308 to donate to Healing Classrooms to create secure, nurturing learning environments for Syrian refugee children.

Way to go Bryant Artists! We are proud of your kindly act!
