Paramount Duty Resolution adopted by Bryant PTSA

The attached Paramount Duty Resolution was adopted and signed by the general membership at the PTSA Board meeting on November 10th.  It sends a message to our legislators that as parents, citizens and voters, we request they uphold the Washington State Constitution that mandates the State amply fund education for all children.

We are sending the signed Paramount Duty Resolution to our 46th District Legislators, Gov Jay Inslee and the Senate and House Education Committee Members.

However, our work isn’t done.  We still need our parents to call, write and email our legislators to keep education funding top of mind.  Please take a couple minutes each week to send a quick email with “Fund Education” in the subject line and include your name and address in the body of the email.  With over 1,000 parents, teachers and staff at Bryant, let’s make sure our legislators know we want them to act now to amply fund education for our students!

Governor Jay Inslee
Senator David Frockt: District 46 Legislator
Representative Gerry Pollet: District 46 Legislator
Representative Jessyn Farrell:District 46 Legislator
