Greetings Seussical Parents!
Please take a moment to pay your child’s school play fees here. You have the option to pay what you can, if you are not able to swing the full fee. See the link for more details. For those who have already paid by check, you can disregard this message. Thank you!
Please read this email carefully and in it’s entirety. In order for your student to participate in the Bryant School Play, Seussical, we need 3 things from you in the next 2 weeks:
If you cannot swing the entire fee, we will accept whatever you can pay. We do not want the fee to be a barrier for any students’ participation.

Because of you, Bryant students will benefit from growth and enrichment activities, services and support. Because of you, Bryant students will participate in activities like art and music in classrooms, expanding education beyond math, science, and reading. Because of you, teachers will receive extra support through classroom supplies, academic specialists and tutors. Because of you, kids will get the early intervention necessary and allow classroom teachers to focus on the class and provide each student the attention needed to succeed in school.
Thank you for supporting teacher assessment time, field trips, educational enrichment and so much more. You make Bryant Elementary better. Bryant has educated kids in our community for more than 100 years. By supporting the Annual Campaign, you are developing a generation of leaders, community members, and future philanthropists.
Thank you!

Entries are due on Monday, November 4th. Entry forms went home with your students; there is a box to turn in submissions in the library.

There’s nothing like finishing off the first week back (or if you’re a Kindergartner, celebrating the last Friday before school starts) at Bryant with ice cream! This is the ever-popular event for families to rub shoulders with old buddies, teachers, and new friends. One bowl for $3 or two bowls for $5 supports the 4th Graders as they start raising funds for 5th Grade Islandwood camp. Enter through the set of three doors on the southwest side of the building adjacent to the Bryant Garden.
Calling all Bryant 4th Grade Families! This is a BIG 4th-grade fundraiser for our class trip to Islandwood next year. We need lots of adult volunteers and 4th-grade scoopers to help pull this off! Please click on the link to reserve your spot now!

2nd annual Back to Bryant! Ease back into the school year with a visit the day before school! Check out your new classroom, establish a nickname with your new teacher, and see some classmates at this casual re-entry to the year. No need to bring anything other than yourself.
When you’ve had enough classroom time, come join everyone out on the schoolyard for some lemonade until you’re ready to go home and get prepared for the big day.
Join your student for lunch on Friday, June 7th. It’s a great opportunity to shake off authors’ jitters before settling down to the important work of sharing their writing. Grab a quick bite before you lead your writers’ circle or take your time and catch up with other parents and favorite teachers. Little siblings welcome!
Lunch times will be:
Kindergarten 10:30-11:10
1st Grade 10:45-11:25
2nd Grade 11:00-11:40
3rd Grade 11:15-11:55
4th Grade 11:30-12:10
5th Grade 11:50-12:30
We’ll need help too! Please consider volunteering for short jobs ranging from right after drop-off to just after lunch. Look for sign up forms in kid mail this week and return by Friday, May 24th.
