From the community: Girl Scout Troop 680

Is your daughter is going to be in 3rd, 4th or 5th Grade? If so, Girl Scout Troop 680 has a great opportunity for your daughter and their DAD! Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as 3 yearly camping trips, community service projects, and environmental stewardship,  girls and their Dad’s, have a great time while learning and spending time together.

Although Girl Scout Troop 680 is predominately a father and daughter troop, we recognize that some fathers may not be able to participate in some or all meetings and activities, so many of our girls participate with their mothers or another adult family member.

The Troop is open to girls in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades from all schools in the NE cluster.

As our 5th grade girls from last year moved on to middle school, we have a number of spots open for new scouts. If you’re interested in joining Troop 50680 this fall, please contact Shelley Prosise at 206-218-8967 or jointroop680@gmail.com. Membership is handled on a first-come, first-serve basis: a wait list if we have more interest than capacity. Sign up now to secure a spot in fall. We look forward to seeing you and your daughter in Girl Scouts.

Next meeting is Tues, Oct 19, 2015, 7-8 pm. Come join us.
