A Huge Thank You from Your Bryant Auction Team

Thank you to everyone who donated items, placed bids, shared the link, or cheered on the auction from the sidelines! Every bit of participation helps our school, and we’re so grateful for this community that comes together to make things like this possible.

A giant shout‑out to our amazing auction procurement team — Meaghan Wonderly, Leah Rutman, Kelly King French, Sejin Maddaloni, Erin Breslin, and Tanya Lauckner — and a big thank‑you to Maureen Bhak for all your help.

We’ll be reaching out to auction winners this week with details on how to pick up or receive your items. And if helping with next year’s auction sounds fun — it really is a rewarding, creative project — we’d love to hear from you.

Kindergarten & 5th Grade HIP Packing Party Tues, April 7th, Donations due Friday

We need your help! HIP continues to see a significant increase in demand for Healthy HIP Packs. The Bryant Student Hunger Service Project aims to provide a hands-on opportunity for our community to learn about and help students facing food insecurity every day in Seattle.

The HIP Packing Party for K/5th grade is next Tuesday evening April 7th in the gym from 6:30-7:30pm! Food donations must be dropped off at school by 2pm on Friday, April 3rd. Collection bins are located in the main office and outside each Kindergarten and 5th grade classroom.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help so far! We still need more food donations for specific items and for some parent volunteers at the packing party. Our goal is to make 250 healthy HIP packs.

Donations Requested for Students at our Sister School Over Spring Break

A big thank you for the generosity of donations to buy grocery gift cards for our sister school before Thanksgiving, winter, and mid-winter breaks. It is always HUGELY appreciated!! Let’s do it again for spring break.

The Bryant PTSA Family Support Program is collecting funds to purchase $25 grocery cards to be donated to our sister school. Our sister school is a Title 1 elementary school in the Seattle public school district in which more than 80% of current students are from low-income families. With ever increasing grocery prices, families need extra assistance buying food. Please consider supporting local students at our sister school. Your donation will be used to purchase grocery cards. The deadline for this donation drive is 4/8.

Thank you for those who have it in their budget and heart to contribute!  Click here to donate.

While we are currently collecting donations for our sister school, Bryant PTSA funds are budgeted and used to support the Bryant Families In Need program at our school, including grocery gift cards for school breaks.

If your family is experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship, the Bryant PTSA has a confidential program to assist you. Contact Bryant’s Social Worker, Diego Nunez dinunez@seattleschools.org, to let him know you would benefit from assistance. This program can help with school fees, Bryant spirit wear, Yearbooks, School Picture Fees, food bags on the weekend, financial assistance for school clothes, as well as gift cards to grocery stores during the weeks we are not in school due to scheduled school vacations (Thanksgiving week, Winter break, Mid-winter break, and Spring break).
